Existential Elevator Started conversation Apr 20, 2003
Some notes from my brief trip away.....
To the guys that were wolf-whistling at various times in various places: Get real
To the drunk Scotsmen in Eton: Frilly<?> Where did that come from<?>
To the goth boy in Oxford: Don't worry, you'll get the hang of those platforms eventually
To the Becks lookalike in Oxford: Get a life
To Taka Hirose: Was that *you* in Brighton today<?>
To the tender in the shoe shop in Oxford: Umm. Yes. Perhaps I'm not the best person to call "bling bling"....<?>
To the Supreme Being: at least you have a sense of humour
In short, I've had better trips.
and to you all

They were just things that I thought over the weekend. Observatons, if you will
I didn't really have a great time, but hey.

I couldn't find a nice enough easter egg for you
Ach, well, I'm beginning to think that I just attract the wrong sorts of people
I'm still rather confused at the whole 'frilly' thing. I think it was aimed at my coat, but that still soesn't make any sense

may be you should not atrack a man, but seduce a man you realy like.
encourage your own judgement, I have faith in you!

Personally, I don't actually bother trying to attract/seduce *anybody* Friendship is far more valuable.
I dress to please myself.
Occasionally I get positive feedback from the general public, and occasionally I don't. Doesn't really worry me.
What *does* worry me, however, is random drunk Scotsmen shouting 'frilly' at me. It is umm....worrying.
Thanks for having faith in me

Existential Elevator Posted Apr 21, 2003
You're not ugly to me
Partners come and go but good friends are there forever
[but what would I know<?> I haven't had many of either ]

like I say on the united friends page A703126
everyone is unique! equal! beautifull!
and I add
but never expect a normal being.
normal is like time a relative thing.

you know in theory everyone is a freak (freak equaling abnormal) cuz what is normal? must be something that is identical in every way to another thing. all humans are different so all humans are freaks

Ah well, but me, I am in the category fondly referred to as 'freak'
Keeps me amused.
It's the embodiment of my firm belief that appearence really does not matter, and that people shouldn't judge others on looks.
Besides, I'd hate anybody to think that I was *ahem* "normal"
Normal is a relative thing, and where I am, normal tends to be bleahed blonde wearing a tracksuit with dangly loop earings, not particularly tall and a smoker. Which isn't all that attractive, really.

I buy her all the right clothes
and pretty jewels to wear
my friends say she's a dumb blonde
but they don't know she dyes her hair
