I've come to the conculsion that I do some really stupid things.
Yes I knw you're going to find that hard to believe but I do 
This struck me last night as I was looking out of the bedroom window into the back yard, to see if there was anyone in the garden. Now my bungalow backs on to fields, so it's quite dark and spooky at night out there. Now I do this every night, look see if there is anyone there. There is no reason that someone should be there and if I looked out and saw someone mincing about in my back garden if would scare me half to death! 
Not only that but, before now I've heard the side gate bang at night so I've gotten up and gone out in just my boxers, armed with half a flag pole (don't ask) to see if anyone is there! Why do I do this!?!? they can't get at me in the house for crying out loud! And what the hell would I do if I did see someone messing about with the side gate? 
after all I don't know any kendo moves!

I have a light, but I'd still be scared if I switched it on and saw someone there.
It might be Dracula!

Nope, ... my little manly-friend Shadow. 12'ish pounds of the most affectionate lad to ever insist on filling a lap with rumbles, purrs, and simple affection. Friend, you're always welcome to share.

Oh, no no NO !!! He is NOT cute. He is very manly, ... macho, ... studly !!! Oh okay, so he's pretty darned cute too. Especially when he STILL chases his own tail about, ... at over 3 years old.
