Cal - interim high priest of the Church of the Holy Tail

I was having a discussion about this with someone last night, smiley - erm well not really a discussion I was just explaining why I didn't do it.

One reason being I'm paraniod enough without making myself worse, lurking a thread and thinking someone is discussing me when more than likely they are discussing the bloke down the road who has two dogs and a werid twitch smiley - erm not that I have two dogs and a werid twitch. No no honestly I don't *sulks* I really don't smiley - cross!

Yes I know hootoo is an open place and anyone can see anything that is written here, but I think it's a matter of respect.

Respect for yourself and respect for other researchers. smiley - biggrin

So now that gives you full reign to go say anything you like about me in your own threads and I'll be completely ignorant and happy smiley - biggrinsmiley - winkeye

I do lurk but I'm not one of these people who subscribes to threads to see what dirt I can dig up or to know what people I don't particularly like are saying about me. I go to <./>Info</.> and have a look at some threads in there, I DON'T lurk in private convos.

I can't say I blame you, Cal. I've always thought eavesdroppers (in the case of hootoo lurkers) tend to get what they deserve - regardless of if it's actually about them or they just assume it is. smiley - winkeye

Even problem threads - I seldom get involved in them if I can help it. I save the annoyance of some threads for when it's worth it.
