I think we've managed to upset a student a few times too often. A pile of rubbish left out for the caretaker to collect was found merrily blazing away outside the library's front door.

Luckily it was only the boxes that were actually alight, so a well aimed foot pushed them out of the walkway and into the rain before several bowls of water were used.

All's safe now.

I really think you should take Fahrenheit 451 off the shelves you know...

Our caretaker is a fireman, butch yes but not attractive.

Oh he's friendly enough as long as you don't ask him to do anything. He is also the cause of our heating system not working properly throughout the winter.

I quite enjoy a good bonfire, and BBQ's can be good fun. I'd rather not have 'my' library burnt down by the students though.

I know what we thought of the librarians when I was at school. That makes me sound old.

I don't throw many of them out.........

It's usually not the throwing-out that's worrying. It's the suspending-people-from-using-the-computers-act that's most worrying!

Guilty as charged. It needs doing occasionally but it usually only happens to the sports students.

Well I'm still young, not pretty though.

As for relax that would be a good idea but I'm not very good at it! I'm called 'Twitchy Bird' by a group of friends at home, and the thought of sitting still and not doing anything !
