I'm just sufficiently polite that I will eat a few if they are offered up at someone else's home. But anything that is of the cooked-cabbage family really doesn't agree with the dozen or so teeny ulcers I've had since I was 12'ish. A life-long gift from my dear mother.

Anyway, our butcher mis-ordered, and instead of a 10'ish pound turkey, we find ourselves with very nearly 14 pounds. So, if anyone needs a feed, our table easily seats 6, snugly 8 ...

We've already had our Christmas Dinner and not a sprout in sight
