Last night I realised that the reasons I was viewing/using brunel were no longer valid. The tools don't work with chrome and that sort of thing. So I thought I'd give it a go in goo - my original and favourite skin.


It's lovely.

It's been so long since I've used it and it's soooo loverly.

I think I love the view from goo.

Hmmm... I like the blooey gooyness, bu typing as I m fom the cyber cafe, with the food encrusted and somewhat temperamental keyboard, I like he little smily tool under the txt pan in Brunel.

I can make sure everything gets typed clearly and distinctly, but it means typing very s-l-o-w-l-y and editing all the missed letters...

I've just been roaming around in goo and it's still gorgeous.


I think I'm back for good.


If preview is your friend the shouldn't be a problem.

er, can I get a link to this goo thing?

I came to the site just after alabastard, used it for a bit, but ended up using brunnel for the HTML buttons

No trouble Heleloo, I'm no computer whizz but if you change the bit up at the address from brunel to classic you should be able to see the place in goo.


I'm sure there are loads of easier ways to do it - I know there are some people who have links on their PS - but that's how I did it.


The GuideML buttons don't work on my browser so it seemed pointless in staying with brunel.

Yes indeed. I have to admit that I'm having some trouble with the navigation - I've forgotten so much.

I did wonder about that. I can never find anything in goo.

Oh it's easy when you're familiar with it - it's just so long since I was familiar with it.

Heleloo - you can set your preferences to goo (it's called "classic goo") Then all links will take you to the goo version.

Make sure you don't mistype it as 'classic poo'. This defaults to Brunel.

Sometimes I think my life defaults to brunel.


I only suggested a temporary change to Hel because I don't think it's the sort of commitment that should be jumped into lightly.

I tried, I really, really, tried, but I just couldn't do it.

I like white with dark text, and the 'My Conversations' button.

I'm now ambidextrous and using both goo and brunel depending on the task. This satisfies my need for goo and typing smileys and my need to be able to read some important things.

There's a sensible woman.

I quite like the new smiley. Not sure how and when to use it, though.
