Oh! I am fine.

My thyroid levels are being messed about again. So the consultant has advised the GP to look for any forms of malabsorbtion.

Seems I have plenty of thyroxine in my bloodstream, but the hormone to move it about my system seems to be either missing, or very low.

As this has been going on for over 9 years, I'm not expecting them to find anything smiley - rolleyes

I don't know how you've managed. I'm sick of getting my thyroid checked - what's with that?

I hope they get something sorted out for you.

smiley - puff Sorry about the delay in response - had to visit the throne room in a hurry - again.smiley - rolleyes

They are obviously checking that your thyroid is acting normally, hunny smiley - hug

Over active and it can make you rather hyper smiley - run among other things... Under active and it makes your entire system sluggish, with no energy smiley - sleepy

Oh dear! You really are in the wars, aren't you? smiley - rolleyes

If mine was heading any way it would be under active - like myself.smiley - laugh

I'm trying to do a bit of writing for that create challenge. Bel would have me do a guide entry but the thing I was thinking of is already in PR and I'm drawing a blank with other ideas. So what are you up to on site then?

That's my problem.. almost, but not exactly. I have pseudohypothyroidism smiley - rolleyes

Btw, if you are ever put onto Thyroxine, you are elegible for free prescriptions. Nobody told me that for about 2 years smiley - cross

Hmmm I started writing an Entry about 8 months ago, about a historical lady born locally to this area. I really must get back to it.

More recently I've been doing stuff behind the scenes, and updating one of the help pages in the Guide smiley - biggrin

Good for you working in the background. I can imagine there must be a wealth of work in front of you all. Still, I'm sure you wouldn't be doing it unless you knew it was worth it.smiley - ta

I find it hard to get back to something I've started and abandoned. smiley - goodluck in finding your place again.

You stuffy lot! That's just England paying for prescriptions now!smiley - cross

There's a lot of enjoyment and a good team spirit behind the scenes. It can be tiring, but very satisfying when you see it all coming together smiley - biggrin

Yes! I've had that problem in the past with Entries - they either flow neatly to the end, or they are a pain from the beginning.

This one isn't too bad. It's just time consuming, checking facts and dates and things. Then there's remembering how your thoughts were running at the time. That can be the hardest part to get back. smiley - erm

Sorry, I was rambling a bit smiley - winkeye

I need to go to bed now, likkul smiley - mouse. I'll get back to you tomorrow if you feel well enough to come online.

Goodnight love smiley - smoochsmiley - cuddle

lil xx

Thank you MS.

Here's the plan for next year.

Sell house.

Buy new house with equity.

Dump or at least reduce work since I'll have no mortgage.

Spend my days doing things I like and trying to improve my general health.smiley - zen
