Oooh the dreaded treadmill test. Rest assurred Fizzy, they won't 'induce' any condition. The reason there are more wires used on this test is so they can see any changes starting and act before any angina attack or whatever, usually just stop the test and you're told to lie down while the Doc's check things.

Make sure you wear comfortable flat shoes or barefoot when on the mill though and a few warm up exercises to avoid cramp.

No, an optician wouldn't do the trick in my case.
