h2g2 The Hitchhiker's Guide to the Galaxy: Earth Edition

Hello everyone.

Just dropping in to apologise for my lack of appearance on hootoo lately. I haven't deserted hootoo completely. I have just had a very busy few months and simply haven't had time to get back on here. Sadly, I'm likely to be popping in and out of hootoo even more sporadically as the months go on.

Can't complain really. Been running round like an idiot recently. Got a lie in today, which was great.

Lovely. Know what you mean. Why is it when weekends come around I always feel so shattered? Slept in til gone 10 the other weekend and still felt exhausted.

btw, just noticed, you've changed your nickname. Is that because so many picky people kept complaining about the spelling of panic(k)ing?

Yeah, thought I'd just shorten it. Had a few people comment on the missing k, and I figured that it gets abbreveated anyway.

I do get shattered a lot myself recently. Won't get another lie in until next week sometime. Pet hate is when you can get a lie in and still wake up early. That and waking up half an hour before your alarm clock goes off.

oh yes. that happens to me all the time, waking up before the alarm's gone off. grr. Recently I keep getting woken up by a blackbird at around 5 am!!! I think something keeps coming in the garden and spooking the birds overnight, cause it's not just the normal dawn chorus-it's like alarm calls from them getting twitchy about something, and then it all goes quiet again. Weird.

by the way, is it just me, having been away a while or does h2g2 do funny stuff as you submit your posts to the conversations now. My browser keeps going wibbly
