Doctor Who last night was really good. Although is anyone else confused about how the specials fit in with the new Doc and everything...I thought DT had this whole series to go before Matt Smith takes over in 2010. or am I just having a daft moment...?
Before Doctor Who, I tuned into Jonathan Ross' show in the morning on R2. I don't usually listen to Jon's show, and tuned in cause David and Catherine were guesting. It was very funny, and the interview with Paul Merton was good.

Know Dt has these 4 specials to do - last nights and 3 others. Think I'd heard bout a new series in 2010 but at the time there wasn't anything about who would play the Doc as DT hadn't left at that time.

So there's three specials left and I presume we're going to have this spring/summer's series too
or do we have to wait til 2010 for the next series and they're just tiding us over with the specials...????
I've heard so many different things about this that I've got totally lost about what's happening. It wouldn't be the same without Dr. Who in the spring!

Think the idea is that they were tsaking a break from doing actual series this year and just doing the 4 specials to keep us going until the next series in 2010. Awww. At least, that's what I'd heard. Would be a bit intense to do a 13 episode season and 4 specials as well. But I don't want DT to go!!!

I think he's been brilliant as the doc. Really made it his own, Will be interesting to see how matt gets on.
Glad you know what's going on with the specials-thanks for explaining it.
