Going to see the old partisan in the hills again? Bella Ciao!

*From a camping site with wireless internet in Germany*
La bella Italia and the old partisan indeed - for a start.
We have rented an autocamper in Germany (cheaper than in Denmark) - it is a first for us. Tomorrow we pick up our daughter #3 from Flensburg, a city in Germany just across the border from Denmark. Tonight she is at a trance-dance-rave-or-what-it-is-called party, she had to attend, because her bf has arranged it and she makes the string art. Our son, #4, found out, after we had made all the arrangements, that he had to attend school this coming week for a synopsis-something - otherwise he wouldn't pass this year at college. He stays at home.
In Italy (Venice) we'll meet up with Sig. S's son - #2 called - and my daughter (#1) with bf and son 5½. On Thursday we'll celebrate my p-i-l's 60 anniversary.
The week after that everybody flies home and Sig. S. and I will roll slowly through Slovenia, Austria, CH, France, Belgium, NL, Germany and back to Denmark.
The only drawback is that I have trouble with a couple of articles (a long story) and still have two to go.
That is why I am online at all.
Never mind. To bed to bed...
Good to see you Lady C. It's been a while.

We're back home and still have a week to go before we are due at our respective work places.
It was a good holiday. I may write a journal later. Rain seemed to cling to us. Where ever we went it started raining. Quite cosy to go to sleep in the camper with the sound of raindrops on the roof. We were afraid we wouldn't be able to sleep when we got home, as the cane roof lets no sound through. But yes, we slept for ten hours after a 15 hour's drive from Amsterdam and home - excluding a three hour's pause to clean the camper and eat a gigantic supper in Germany.
Alas, I got all my articles postphoned - but they are due the 28th and the 30th of April, so in a minute I'll start working. (Make that an hour because I just 'need' to check the mail, hootoo, Facebook and stuff.)
And we've got a gig on the 1st of May at a Union we played at last year, and it seemed they liked it as we are rehired. . Red Front and all that.
Music on the road, Pierce, very versatile - but a lot of the political music from the 70es - Danish, Italian and English (US/GB).
Ciao ciao
Sho - employed again! Posted Apr 26, 2008
sounds like a great holiday
I like sleeping in a tent to the sound of gently pattering rain. Something that happened all too often on my last camping holiday
