My very dear pheloxi, big
thank you for your welcome my sweet. It was thanks to your wonderful lead on your United Friends page that I was able to trace my original U number. that ireally is a great facility.
Please keep me informed of any further Fairtrade functions or occasions. I am always so interested in them
Off for a drive to a neighbouring town - which used to be the capital of Kent in the old days. It is through beautiful countryside so I am going to enjoy it.
Much affection

My dear friend, big
You hit it right on the head.
"
Welcome Home"
So glad you like Leeds Castle. I did not know they had a website. I really am a prune when it comes to finding out things like that!!.
anyway, you will surely understand the lovely drive along the backroads to Barming and then onto his pottery class.
So nice to talk to you.

How right you are about the flower arrangement. Apparently they have lots of greenhouses which are devoted only to growing flowers for the Castle.
Isn't the view from the chapel quite outstanding. I would love to go to a concert there but do not have the courage to do so in a wheelchair.

Thank you for your concern when I was "LOST" I still have no idea how it happened. I must have missed a vital bit of information.
I was amused at the way you said you got back onto hootoo!!.
Dear heart, tell me how you are getting on in Dundee. Do you like it. Is it a pretty place. Are you with the family or do you have your own flat.
Incidentally do you have news of Dr. Munchkin and Toccata? I have not heard from them for ages.
I must now go and make the porridge for our breakfast.
My fond to you and also a big

Heyla AR1
Dundee is brilliant - it's calm, quiet and the rush hour seems to take about 15 minutes! SO much different from smelly ol London. The town really is quite pretty with lots of old stone buildings and there are satures of Desperate Dan, Mini the Minx and a on the main shopping street.
The flat is lovely. I'm on my own in a on bedroom tenement flat with my own kitchen, front room and bathroom - and I'm paying less for it than the single bedroom in Peckham. The parents are just an hour or so drive south of here, so I get to see them quite a bit. And Glasow, home of my is only an hour and a half away too!
Munch and Toc are setting up house in Glasgow. Munch is settling into his new job in Edinburgh and Toc has a part time job in a Glasgow brewery and fixing up the flat in her spare time (till she gets another job at least) I'll let them know you were asking after them...
I made scones last night to test out my new oven..they were lovely - I had to take the remainder into work just to stop me eating the whole batch in two days! I'm having a think about what to make tonight - it is so nice to have my own kitchen....and not have to clean it up immediately after cooking.
Glad to hear that you may have found the reason for your horrible hands, but I hope that life is not made too difficult without the heart medication. It's nice to know you've found a family in h2g2..!
Hope the porridge was nice..
Luv and hugz

I've just made a bolognese sauce, both sons are in for supper, so that will fill them up nicely.
I haven't decided what to get H, he is veggie, so probably something from the freezer.
I have never been to Dundee or Edinburgh and have only ever driven through Glasgow. I can see we shall have to a trip to Scotland one day to remedy that.
No1 son has appeared at the Fringe festival though.

AR1!
You are not peculiar or odd ... at least not for needing caring people around you! I can't vouch for your peculiarities in other areas. I think you must be at least *slightly* odd to have gotten along so well here!
I would love to come on your country drive! Be forewarned that I might cringe occasionally, as I'm not used to driving on the "wrong" side of the road!
Let's go to Leeds Castle! The website says there is a maze that should take a half an hour to complete. Let's see if we can do it quicker!
Hearing about the American Lady with her collection of parrots reminds me of a funny story. I used to share an apartment with my sister, and when she became engaged, I started to look for a new place to live. A friend of mine let me know that her friend had an apartment available. I called him, and went to see the new place. The front door was open, leaving only the screen door closed. I knocked on the door, and was answered by, "Hello?" I called into the house, "It's Barbara! I've come to see the apartment!" There was a pause, and then another call of "Hello?" Again I said, "It's Barbara! About the apartment!" Another pause, then "Hello?" I was getting a bit annoyed by now, and yelled "I'm here about the apartment!" I got no answer. Confused, I returned to my car, and tried calling him on the cellphone, but only got the answering machine. I went back to the door and knocked again. "Hello?" I answered, "Hello?" I got a reply, "Hello? Squawk!" I realized I had been talking to a bird the entire time! My landlord had been in the backyard gardening!

Dear AR1,
...*whispers...here's a bit of moss I pinched from the castle....*looks both ways...opens damp kercheif...*"""""""/////////\\\\"""""""""
Now part of wherever you live, you can have a bit of Royal fungus, or whatever it is.
Never saw whatever that is in your hand AR1. Nope.
They can put me in the nick & hang me, but they'll never get me to tell where your moss is.

Hi my dear,
Well you certainly started something giving us the website of Leeds Castle!!. I really do love it. What is so special is that all the staff love it as well, and they are all anxious to help you like it as much as they do!!.
How do you cook for one vegetarian and two meat eaters? What are you? I am finding that it is reasonably easy to be a vegetarian, but I must eat my pulses in order to get my protein.
Affectionately,

Oh my so dear Pandora,
I don't mind you telling them that I had it in my hand. Royal fungus - like Royal Jelly - is surely very good for one!!.
I loved the story about having to be DEAD. That was a gem!!.

'Twas not a funny as Shea's lil' (what some LOWER class) people would call a : 'brain far*' Hello? "hello"Hello?
I must admit. I did something even worse.
I, however, was not alone. My friend Donna & I were at a local pond one evening. I was swimming with the fish and snakes and stuff...she sitting on the dock waiting for me to:"come to my senses and get out of that water"......if you don't like water the least you could do is not try to spoil it for others. But, I digress.
We heard "Help me!"
WE ran into the field and have way to the woods we heard it again! "Help me - help me!"
We realised that we nothing to help anyone with. So, in all our wisdom we rushed to the nearest phone and called the Sheriff!
Deputies, ambulance and volunteers alike formed a possee.
Then we heard it again! "Help me!"
All the personel ran through the field and into the woods!
Several tense minutes passed, as I had stayed behind to flirt with a good looking young police man.Ohmyhell, I jusss said that aloud, didn't I!
Anyway...
Suddenly...we heard a man shout!
Then a tremendous amout of laughter!
The people became visible at the tree line. They were all laughing and talking amounst themselves.
Seems, there were a bunch of peacoks looking for a bit of romance with the peahins. Their mating cry is, you guessed it,
'help me'!.
Ahh...least you think that's the end of this story...
The one Sheriff Deputy leaned over and said to me, "Don't feel bad about this Val, it's the second time I've tried to come to the 'aid' of a peacock!" Hahahahaha!!! ;-D
Sleep safe tonight people. We've got the men in blue protecting us.
DISCLAIMER: I love cops...really!! My daddy was a cop.
My Uncle Bill a cop who made detective! And least we forget,
there was that young policeman who stayed behind, to, um, comfort me!
To AR1 & all the rest of 'the family'

Hi my so dear Zantic in training,
Thank you for your lovely newsy letter. Now I can really imagine you in your flat, going aboiut the business of making and creating your first home. Loverly. Pleased also that the rents are reasonable. I really do not know how people afford to live in Londond.
So pleased with your scones. Clever girl. They are difficult to make because unless you get the ingredients absolutely correct they fall about in helpless crumbs - which is what mine tend to do!!
I had heard whispers about a "beau" somewhere in the shadows. I do not expect you to spill the beans but I hope that he is nice and is worthy of my special girl.!!
We have had a quiet day. I am giving a friend of mine a 70th birthday party on Friday so am trying to organise the food etc. I hope that it will be a success.
Sleep tight my little one,
Your ing
