Wo*k is back and annoying me as well!

Thanx, y'all
I'm not sure which is more exciting: L.S.U being the national champions or Mardi Gras (read that as king cake season).
AW, thanks for the condolences. Does anyone actually *want* to work for a living?

Ummmm. There do exist those rare beasties who actually *enjoy* being at wo*k. Case in point, the founder of the business for whom I am employed ... who, being *well* past retirement age and well able financially to do whatsoever he damnwell pleases, perfers to get up each day, drive to a dismal office, and sit reading trade magazines and newspapers, whilst saying nary a word to anyone ... unless he's reaming someone for a bit of wasteful spending, usually a sum of less than $5 US.
Apparently, he enjoys our "company". Oh, for joy!

ER, I haven't seen any salt and pepper shakers... Although, I wouldn't put it past the manufacturers of all the commemorative . Sorry to hear work has claimed another victim.
AW, the founder of your business should really be checked for senility.

Senility?! I don't think they'd even find a brain inside ... only Japanese electronics and bits of crackers.

Hi there, scrapy1
L.S.U. is Louisiana State University. The Sugar Bowl is the national championship for American Football (college level). There is still a lot of celebrating all over the state. And, quite a bit of purple and gold t-shirts...everywhere.
*is about sick of hearing Tiger Rag, otherwise known as "Hold that Tiger"*

I like reading, drawing, cooking (and apparently discussing food)to name but a few interests. Most of my interests and particulars are listed on my page: U186031.
What are your hobbies and interests?

Hi scrapy1
I read a lot...mostly non fiction. Also, classic fiction and a bit of fantasy and science fiction. What types of books do you read? Maybe we've read some of the same...
Do you have a particular type of music that you favor? Or do you listen to a variety?
The most current movie I've seen was Return of the King. Can't really say what my favorite movie is...hmmm, might have to get back to you later, on that.
I like to go out to concerts, local festivals, Mardi Gras parades... Really liked to go out dancing until the one decent local club burned to the ground...
Never tried fishing... I do know how to cook if there is any extra.
There is a running around the house at the moment. What kind of pets do you have?
