We'll miss you kitty.
E.Z. was a stray that turned up at our store a few weeks ago. It took us a while to make friends with him. He seemed to be a bit under the weather. Then he got much sicker very quickly. The vet said it was pneumonia and probably other things. We administered the antibiotics faithfully and cleaned him up as often as we could. Thing is, his apetite was good and he seemed perkier Thursday and Friday. When Mike came home Saturday he said that E.Z. was deceased. These things happen, I realize that. It's just so awful to say goodbye. And, I seem to have said goodbye quite a bit lately.

Thanks.
Xena is doing fine. I made sure that E.Z. didn't rub on my jeans or shirts just in case it was a viral infection. The two s never met either. We have six more cats at the store about which I'm kind of concerned.

How are the other cats doing? Anyone else come down sick?

Another one has runny eyes. He is a stray and not too friendly, so we haven't managed to catch him.
There is one more stray and the others are third and fourth generation store cats. We can't catch them either, but they sure look healthy(gorgeous grey tabbies and one calico).

Looks like you're not going to have a full-blown epidemic, then. That's good!
Any news on the front?

The front seems to have retreated...
A couple of people have offered to help me look. One suggested something small like a chiahuahua or poodle. I prefer terriers and hunting dogs. One of these in black or spotted maybe.

I still highly recommend Labs. German Shorthairs are good, too, but hyper and high maintenance.
If you like terriers, maybe an Airdale? Biggest terrier on the block, and supposed to be quite smart...

Labs are great dogs. Australian shepherds are nice dogs too. We really liked Maverick's personality, which was very indicative of the terrier side of him, possibly Rat terrier.
