Hello Sean,
I don't know how long my email has been malfunctioning as it isn't my primary email address. It was one that I got to associate with my screen name for the convenience of emailing other h2g2 researchers.

Other than that, things have been okay here. It looks as though we are going to be replacing an air conditioner soon, but the old one is about eleven years old. So, I guess it is about time.

I did sleep in a bit, and reset the clock. However, the doesn't have a snooze button. I can email from work, and even lurk through h2g2 a bit between tasks. Posting is a bit difficult, though, as I sometimes share my desk. Our next project is setting up an interoffice network. This would mean that three additional computers would be on the internet. Hopefully that would eliminate some of the inconveniences of sharing a rather smallish work area, but it probably won't.

So far so good with the yahoo email.

Now, I just have to convince someone that a little color on the walls can be a good thing. Or I could just paint the whole house while they are away. Any suggestions for a diversion? I really don't mind painting, we just can't agree on a color that isn't one shade from white.

The weather is slightly overcast and breezey, which is rather nice compared to glaringly bright and really hot.

The other color choice is white, so I guess anything with white would suffice. I'm kind of leaning towards a pale yellow with white trim in the kitchen with a small accent of green(so I don't have to change the counter tops). There are three sections to the kitchen walls: Paneling above the cabinets, cabinet frame, and then the cabinet doors. From the ceiling down it would be: White on the 8 inches or so of paneling, then a thin racing stripe of green, then white frame and pale yellow doors.

Aside from the usual mayhem, things are quite nice at the moment. My nephew's plane should land in New Orleans in about ten minutes. He and his wife will be town visiting until Thursday.
