It can be used for all sorts of stuff, but yes, it's mostly used as a barrier/nappy rash cream.

I think I am finally going to have to buy another pot of the stuff - the one we bought over 13 months ago is finally starting to look like we might reach the end. It wasn't even a big pot, but does seem to last forever.

Probably ok for me and my brood, but not a new babbie.

I love it cos it lasts forever, but because buggerlugs has been dipping her fingers into the pot we're going to have to buy some more fairly soon

Luckily she's not at the poo fascination stage; unfortunately she's at the I-don't-want-my-nappy-changed-so-I'll-leg-it-while-it's-still-half-on bit, which is worse in its own way I think

I had a friend whose daughter used to follow her round the house as she was cleaning. When she squirted Jif Cream (now Cif if you have to google it) on the bath her daughter ran her finger over it and licked it. Little tikes can be faster than us because we can't imagine that they find these things appetising and so don't think to hold them back... the first time!
Little tike was totally Ok by the way. We went to her wedding last summer - but I haven't seen how she cleans the bath.
