Johanna the Psychotic Bananna - - I'm back!!! I missed you, H2G2 Posted Aug 15, 2003
voyager is way the best. i hate enterprise, i quite like tng, ds9 is quite good, and i have a grudgeing respect for the original series(hereafter reffered to as tos) but its mediocre. i saw the second last episode the other day - id never seen it b4. i dont really watch tng any more, onkly when there an episode with Q in it.
i am such a nerd
and a trekkie
but i dont mind. i play roelplay games and obsess about buffy c'est moi.

I quite like Enterprise myself. I find the original series just too old fashioned, and I don't really like DS9 that much, I prefer TNG. And you're right, Buffy is cool!

It's annoying how they call her "Terra" all the time - or they did, anyway. I think Willow is the best.

Wasn't much of a Buffy fan till my housemates indoctrinated me last year. Willow rocks, especailly when evil! (not that I go for the evil type you understand!)
On ST, I'm more for voyager and tng coz they actually go somewhere and seek out the new life forms. I never got on with ds9 as they just stuck around on the same place the whole time.

Exactly. Plus, I don't think the characters in DS9 are anything like as interesting. In Voyager, there's the tension of being the only Starfleet ship out there, they can only rely on each other etc. In TNG, it's a huge ship and it gets in loads of fights and stuff, it's at the forefront of everything.

i only like a few DS9. there was when the cardassians took the space station, those eps were good (i think) and the ones where the commander(whats his name??) goes into this dream thing and he's actually this guy writing stories in the 50's. i think. its a long time since ive seen any ds9.

Sisko? It did have some nice touches, I've got to admit. I didn't see that many, but I loved the one where they went back to Kirk's Enterprise, with all the tribbles. That was fantastic! It went a bit weird at the end, when Sisko became that prophet thing. I did an entry on Star Trek Cliches, you can get to it from my personal space.

i love the tribbles. was the ds9 one triles and tribbilations, or the trouble with tribbles? i can never remember which one's which.

I think "The Trouble with Tribbles" is the original one. It was very clever how they integrated it all in.

Star Trek doesn't interest me in the slightest. I do have an urge to go to a Star Trek convention though.....waving a lightsaber and declaring War.
