Day three at h2g2. I haven't found the restroom yet, but have stopped by a couple clubs, looked around a few guide entries. The biggest issue so far is the lag. In spite of my DSL connection, every interaction with the server takes some time. I try to remember my 300 baud days, which helps a bit.
I have many Guide entries in me, I think. Certainly the easy place to start would be describing Worcester, the reasons to visit it, things to do here, top ten ways to get arrested, things like that. I suppose I can start right now.
Worcester, MA- Mostly harmless.
Some other ideas:
- Databases
- Buddism
- Garlic
- Retail
- Education
As I get more comfortable here, I'm sure ideas will flow.

Hi, Arthur:
I agree that Worcester deserves an article of its own
(with a title like, maybe, "How to get lost in Worcester,
and why..." ).
The thing is, there's already an edited article that
mentions Worcester
(http://www.bbc.co.uk/h2g2/guide/A455951 )
in five lines.
And after Worcester is done, it only seems fair
that somebody covers Marlboro, Fitchburg, and
Leominster. People in Central Massachusetts
tend to know the cluster of 4 or 5 towns around
their home towns. Anything further out isn't
familiar enough to write about. But Worcester
deserves an article of its own. Do you live in
Worcester?

Yes, I've lived in Worcester for nearly twenty years (an immigrant from New York). And all that time I've lived in or very near downtown. So I agree with you (and others) that I would be a "natural" to write an entry specifically on Worcester.
Worcester has enough fascinating places, history, and places to get lost that it will take some time before I can put together enough information for a complete Guide entry. In the meantime, I'll start putting it together in my Personal Space. Once I have things coming together, I'll submit it to Peer Review.
As I've requested elsewhere, anyone with an interest in this topic, please keep an eye peeled on my personal space. I will welcome any and all input prior to submitting to Peer Review!
