Recently I've been told my journal area is sad and lonley. Does this mean I'm busy or lazy? To be honest I must say it's a bit of both.
My can has just been to the vet today, to get stitches removed. She has been broken (or fixed as we humans would insensitivly put it).
That showed me that a groggy cat is both entertaining and relaxing. ofcourse she "claims" not to remember a thing.
Hmm cat behaviour. There could be a guide entry in there somewhere.

How *is* your cat? Has she physically and psychologically recovered from the experience? Does she forgive you? Give her my best regards... and a nice big snack.

My cat was very amusing after her trip to the vet. The fact that she was walking as if she were drunk had me in stitches as well as her

Cleo had another trip to the vet. At temperature taking time she had the vet in stitches
I had to take her home and give her a bunch of tablets. The vet refuses to touch her again.
Welcome to my world Detective. And you came in without a search warrent

I've decided to hang around your section and the general horror section - seems like good people there
Only prob is that my country is in the time zone of GMT+12 so... eg the UK is 12 hours behind to me. Conversations may take a while.

Detective Armani Posted May 24, 2002
That`s not a problem. Conversations between UK citizens can take just as long on here. It`s like we`re in a seperate time zone in here anyway.
I`m glad you`ve decided to stick around. We are good people and we`re always ready for a chat.
So where in the world are you? Somewhere nice i hope.

Her mother was a stray and I guess her temper runs in the family
I got to sit in on an ESOL class full of Chinese (english as a second language) yesterday while installing some server software. It looks like fun, kinda like playschool.
Personally I can't fathom Chinese

Hello Della Good to meet you. It`s nice to get all us cat people together. (just don`t let ex-rambling know.)

Chinese is very difficultJapanese is much easier - Chinese is tonal, which is the problem! My friends (women I was working with on the last teaching assignment) are called Zhimin Yang and Chih Wen, but to my relief are known to us as Jennifer and Sharon. Sharon is 26 years old, used to be an advertising art director (!) and looks like Xiao Yu in Tekken 3! She does!
I'm in NZ too, and we're having the storm of the century (so far).Trees have blown down, power cuts are everywhere. Wonderful.
Cats everywhere are seeking shelter.

Storm of the century might be a slight exageration
But from TV news it looks that way further north from me and in the south island (where all the snow is)
*sigh* I've still never been in snow
My wife has the day off work so Cleo will be snuggled up somewhere

Detective Armani Posted May 27, 2002
You`ve never been in snow? Ever?
It`s brilliant!! Making angels in he snow is such fun. Especially after a drunken night on the town.
At this moment, my two cats are snuggled up together beside me on the sofa. For once Nermal isn`t snoring

Ooh, ooh, the cat I had most recently, was called Rachel. (My youngest son chose that name.) The cat I had before her (I'm talking about *my* cats, not family or neighbours... ) was called Che, named after Che Guevara, gender unknown. (The cat's gender, not Guevara's).
So, Detective - Garfield?
The storm had abated, but now it's resumed, nastier than ever. Was gibt?

Detective Armani Posted May 28, 2002
Yeah i got Nermal from the Garfield cartoons. The other one is called Maggie. Nermal is the friendly loveable one who can`t get enough attention. Maggie likes to sit in a corner and stare at things. At night, when i`m in bed with the lights out, she comes up beside me and just sits there staring at me. It was unnerving at first but i don`t even notice now.

Cleo does that to me. I'll feel a weight on me and I open my eyes to Cleo sitting on me staring. Then she'll curl up and stop me getting out of bed.
