h2g2 The Hitchhiker's Guide to the Galaxy: Earth Edition

my hootoo birthday April 6th 2001.....that makes me ...counts on fingers..seven .leaves for all and redbrush for Pheloxi.
I am still off work but officially on leave. I am waiting to see a specialist in Newcastle....and guess what the university are paying...don't faint...yes paying for me to see the specialist privately.I think this have had something to do with a visit from the Health and Safety Executive,not at my instigation I might add, but students have also expressed concerns about the safety of the library.
I am feeling a bit better and a bit brighter but still don't know what is happening about my job.I suppose after I've seen the specialist they will find me somewhere to work.
Other news Nessie passed her driving test and now has a little car and I am now a great aunt. My great niece is in Texas but thanks to the wonders of the internet I have video clips and photos.She is beautiful
So hugs to all and I hope you are ok. Hopefully I will catch up with everyone soon

Oedipus is now 20 but still struggling around.He is very frail but still eating and able to demand attention. He's asleep at the moment behind me on a large cushion I got for him.He can still get upstairs to wake me at 6am every morning, sigh, unfortunately
Baggins is 13 now and quite rotund i.e. fat. However he still chases things and only yesterday caught a large elastic band.
He is still as mischievous as ever.Luckily he has realised he is too large to climb the curtains now
When I was ill Jk came to visit and got up at 6am every morning to see to Oedipus so I could have a lie in.It helped a great deal in my recovery.Thanks Jk
