Nothing much to report really..still ill, waiting to see the specialist. My appointment was for tomorrow but now it's been cancelled and is in two weeks time. Until I see the specialist can't move on with anything . So on minimal medication which just about stops me having bad asthma attacks but I feel like I am struggling most days to do ordinary tasks.
Occupational health at work agree with my doctor ,that I should stay off sick until they move me. Apparently I am now suffering from psychological distress as well as occupational asthma....Occupational Health doctors words not mine.
I have a meeting with personnel next week to see what they are going to offer me.Another colleague, different circumstances however, has waited 11 months for a move. I can't wait much longer. If I go back to the same job I will end up very ill if not dead.
So otherwise things are the same. Nessie is enjoying her research in the lab and has got some funding to continue for a few more months ,which is brilliant
Cats are still with us and haven't changed much
I hope everyone is Ok. I try to pop in to see how people are but it seems awfully quiet of late.
to all .Happy Sunday.

Thanks for the update, sorry to hear you're still waiting though. My asthma has been much better since I've been kept away from traffic, which kind of leads me to believe it's an 'occupational' accident that I got it - working with the taxis. Can't sue my dad though. He hasn't got any money!
Hope you get it all sorted out soon.
What's Nessie working on?

Hi Mina as far as I understand it mutant plants and genetic manipulation to put the faults right so they grow properly. I know it involves lots of microscope stuff and detailed work with seeds and tiny plants. It's not GM crops though or anything like that. I think it is more putting right GM mistakes. She seems to like it and loves lab work.
I am trying not to get depressed about work and now being quite ill when I haven't been used to all this doctors and hospital stuff.
I am glad you are getting somewhere with help for J .It's not easy and good for you for not giving in

Mutant plants? Sounds very exciting - I love triffids.
Yeah, it's hard with J, but we're getting there - slowly!
