Hi Mina..I'm at work so struggling a bit to hold things together but ok...the phrase was that "personal doesn't mean important " and although I'd helped him get a place at uni that the course at uni was more important than me.
So I created a I helped him to succeed and he bit the hand etc.
I am still upset by it.I was used.

Judging yourself harshly, using phrases like 'I never learn' and wishing you didn't feel are not going to help you, m'dear. Or I very much doubt they will if my own experience of things is anything to go by, and you not being me may find them much more use than I did. But assuming they aren't helpful for a moment I'm gonna waffle at you...

Keep treating yourself with respect. Keep finding activities that soothe, relax or distract and you enjoy.

Remember you are cared about by many. You can see it evidenced here.

The lesson you have learned is that this one person isn't worthy of the trust, respect and importance you gave them.
That doesn't mean you were wrong trust another person, it doesn't mean you were wrong to trust yourself. You can do both of those again in the future.
Now you know they're not so worthy of those things take it away from them in your mind. The less importance you let them have there the less they can hurt you in your heart.

We're powerless over other people's choices and so many things in life, but you do have the power to find something or someone new to be important, the future is along way off down worry about it, a lot will happen between then and now.
You have to accept that being alone is possibility, we all do, we're all alone in this together, we're all aliens in the same abyss, you do not have to accept it as a defined destination. Keep experimenting with things, places, people, LIFE.
You've been happy alone before, you know how to have fun with it.

Don't carry a stone of hurt with you, let that wash away, don't be a stone either.

It ain't easy.
