I'm not being very nice, I admit. I'm just cruelly delighting in the fact that the most boring and overated British sportsman has fallen by the wayside in a tournament the most boring and overated sport. With any luck we'll hear a damn sight less about Queens - and maybe be spared more Henmamia during the annual agony of Wimblebore.
And it's not news because he never wins anything anyway.

I'll happily sit in front of the box for the entire two weeks of Wimbledon 
Leastways, there was a time when I would have... the tennis and the players are both relatively boring these days compared to ten, twenty years ago 
Even the women's game is drifting the same way as the men's.

The only thing I know about tennis is that it makes parking difficult at Mets games while the U.S. Open is going on right next door.
