There was me mucking around with the tag to see if I could get it to say something sensible in the new DNA 'Collective' site, and bugger me, the whole darn lot disappears

i thought when they moderated your page they put up a text about your page being moderated, but when i check your page it appears to be there, just blank. did you remove content after you were moderated?

Oh and I've just noticed that the 'ollocks' bit is still in the subject line on the recent conversations list, but not in the subject line for each posting. Therefore I guess what ever was put in place to solve the problem I originally caused hasn't worked

It wasn't rude, it stated a simple fact that the "ollock" in 'b******s' had been removed from the subject line of the thread, but not the subject line as seen from the perspective of say the 'My Conversations' page.

It was referred to draw this problem to our attention.

We can fix this manually, but you could try not swearing in your subject line... Just a thought.

(mutters something about ACEs being upstanding members of h2g2...)

I still wonder what it really was the last time.. not having crawled through the entire thread and being in the habit of jumping forward once I post a comment to an old post.

The last time the page went down it was because a mod was unsure about the e-mail addy I've got on my page trying to recruit to come and work in Brighton.

I don't know what the reason was this time around. Possibly that again, possibly the small quantity of French on the page. Who knows. Perhaps Mina or Abi would like to enlighten me

Well fiddling with the tag meant that I had to edit and update the page to see if it worked in different skins (it didn't). So once I'd finished the whole lot gets sent of to a mod to check for naughty words and links to porn sites etc, and they failed it for some reason.

In answer to your question, no nothing much was changed. The biggest alteration was to remove the ICQ number which I scrapped months ago because I hated the interface, and I'm now cheerfully using Messenger
