Bad timing for a cold
There is only one thing worse than being Gosho, and that is not being Gosho Posted Oct 21, 2005
Which is not too dissimilar from what I plan to do today. Except for the upstairs/downstairs bit cos I don't have them, and it's far too warm for the heating or a duvet. And living in one room I can access almost everything from the sofa except having to get up to make tea or unload it. Got a few .avi files to watch, a book to read ('The Scandals of Clochemerle'), and postings at h2g2 to keep up with Which is pretty much what I'd be doing on a regular day off

The radio commentators started with, "There's not a seat to be had over in the United end."
Yes there is: mine

No, you don't go to games just for the victories. That's what Man Utd fans do.

So, all that time you spent saying he was crap and he never scores?...

I never said that about Kabba!
Asaba, though was a different matter.

I presume that post 24 was you just realising what *that* word in my nick is an anagram of... although I can't for the life of me think why you're angry about it

Leeds One - Sheff Utd One
is an anagram of
Honest - fouled defense
...which, judging by the number of yellows Leeds picked up, sounds about right.

Sorry to hear you are not feeling well GD and it sounds like you made a good decision.
Now there are two things I want to know:
1. How did you catch BH's cold over the internet ...
2. Do you know when your bin day is?

You could always call the Brighton & Hove Albion Help Line for advice.
0800 1 nothing 0800 1 nothing.

Sorry you're feeling rough, GD. I've felt like I was running on about 60 per cent energy since early September because of a virus, but I'm obviously not in as bad a way as you are. I'll be able to make it through the West Yorkshire drizzle later today to see my boys take on Gillingham.
Anyway, I'm glad that Kabba's strike gave you a tonic. I watched the game over at my parents' place, and I cheered that goal too. I'm always glad to see Leeds concede a goal, especially such a good one. But my Mum can lip-read, and she found some of Neil Warnock's observations to the referee's assistants a bit startling...

Hes not know for his restraint and clean language is he
Hope you all feel better soon - OJ is currenly home with a cold (which being a bloke is flu) and using it as an excuse to watch score interactive all day. He is also thinking it will get him out of helping at the theatre tonight so it looks like I may have to do bar on my own ...

I'm fully recovered. I can tell this because my cigarette consumption has returned to normal levels. The only legacy I'm left with is an occasional cough that sounds like a Merlin aero-engine backfiring
And my do you want to know my bin day, LHG?
