Ah no. No Sky at present. Need the house re-wiring before adding more electronics to the already extremely fragil electric supply

Great, isn't it? I can put the other loose cannon, the dog, upstairs, but getting rid of the electrics means candles, and frankly I think candles and drunks are even worse idea...

I presume that was supposed to be 'not as bad'?
Been there, done that, left scorch marks on the ceiling.

It's still not a good idea, let's be honest, like so many things that seem like a good idea at the time, the cold light of dawn shows them to be folly.

Fondues are ok, but they are such a lot of faff, to be honest.
I mean, I can eat bread and cheese a lot easier than all that mucking about.

Oh God, you meant a *chese* fondue No dear, I meant a proper Austrian fondue- hot oil and about seven different types of meat, all waiting to be skewered and bunged in the pot. Along with ten or so different dips. Can't beat it.

Heretic! There's nothing austrian about that - it's called a 'Fondue Bourguignon" - it's as French as they come!
I've been out here too long - I'm beginning to sound like a Frenchman...
Anyone got a box of matches

Ah, well, I was going on the fact that no-one's ever tried to serve me one in France, but they're on virtually every menu in Austria....

Well, I almost typed 'give me one in France', but I decided that would've been too much of a gift...

Well, what with me not being a huge meat eater, pretty pointless me getting involved in that type of fodue, which can be easilty beaten by almost anything in the food line, in my opinion.

Still..better than a standard American snack of, say, beer nuts, cheese doodles, and canned vienna sausages on chicken in a biscuit crackers .
But yeah, fondue is very..what's the word? Faff. Though personally I would call it very 'Avon.' (Not Kerr, of course..I'd associate her more likely with the beer nuts )

And why not? You could encourage they stock items on your uh..shopping list, and the employee discount would probably make up for your loss in income, don't you think?
