'Sunny Day
Sweepin' the clouds away
On my way to where the air is sweet'
Well, Sarfend, anyway.
Tired of being miserable and feeling sorry for myself. Because, as a very wise man once said;
'And all the world is football-shaped
It’s just for me to kick in space
And I can see, hear, smell, touch, taste
And I’ve got one, two, three, four, five
Senses working overtime.'
Thank you Andy Partridge. And Sargeant-at-arms John Keel too.

How dare you be cheerful at this time in the morning
At least let the rest of us digest our breakfasts before forcing us to read this sort of thing...

*growls quietly* please don't be cheerful at me before I've fnished my third cup of tea of the day. If you do that sort of thing when you're staying at mine, there will be trouble.
And for God's sake Az, don't *encourage* it.

Can't help it, Kerr,
When Blues was staying here he was surprised that he didn't annoy me by being cheerful in the morning until he realized I am probably more cheerful than he is. What can I say? It's nice having another day, means I'm not dead yet.

I'm frequently cheerful. At civilised times of the day, like 2000. Not 0600, when I am awake and alive but see no particular reason to be happy about it.

Is there actually anything left open in Derby now?
(Did I ever tell you I used to live in Derby at one point... )

Pubs, lots of pubs. And Rolls Royce, and some railway companies. That's about it.
Don't pull that face when talking about the place of my birth, you horrible little man

Don't be so grumpy Kerr.
I reserve the right to be happy as and when I please, so <nahnah) to you.
Blackjacks were horrid things anyway. Fruitsalads were much better.

Little
I'll give you the lots of pubs bit is ok, but as the place is associated with a very unhappy love affair I don't see why anyone else should like the place.
I'm slowly turning into a Vogon!

Blackjacks *are* lovely things (they've not disappeared yet), and fruit salads are for wusses that don't want their mouths to go black. Now, if you'll excuse me, I'm going to make my third cup of tea of the day. Once I've drunk that, I might be more amenable to the idea of jolliness. Maybe.
Coming to the East Midlands meet in Derby then Whisky?

Right, tannin levels restored to normality. This is therefore as cheerful as I get during business hours.
Good for you Shark, now keep it up, but in a quiet way
Whisky, it's not even 'big', really. Only been a city since 1977, after all.... I wonder if I know your ex

Oh goody. That means you're going to be in a happy yet peculiar mood. Hmmmm. I haven't had any luck tracking down The Kingdom series 2 yet, I'm afraid, but there are various avenues open for exploration yet
