So I seem to be busy going nowhere on this one. I thought the Easter break would do me some good, but today I cried again. For a good hour.

I think I should call the Other system owner, and just talk, see how he thinks and takes things, but I feel like such an eejit. I can't bring myself to do it.

I want a good solution for the users. I want it to be nice to use, and not need a frigging manual to just list the workarounds. And above all I want to know what the users really want. I have been guessing, I thought I had a clue, but I don't.

And why is it such a bad thing to want quality - 'You are good at things, they turn out well, but don't be such an overachiever' 'Why do you want to make the decisions on everything?' 'Do you think you own the system - 'are' the system?''Maybe you should go back to the lab for half a year?'

I said, I'd sooner take half a year off without pay...

It completely messes with my head when I'm excellent and worthless in the same sentence like that!
But mebbe it's my behaviour that stinks so much that they don't see the brilliant fact arguments...

I will make another attempt to make them see that there are enough conflicting requirements to make an 'all-in-one' tool pretty unusable. Mmwwwaahahaha in the end I always conquer, but the struggle might do me in!
