But on a serious note, I totally agree with Jools. The BBC seem to be losing touch with what h2g2 is all about more and more. I wasn't on the site pre-Rupert, but from what I've gathered from people who were, the transition was far from smooth. I understand that h2g2 isn't exclusively for Hitchhiker fans, but ask a few of the newer reserchers about DNA and they don't have a clue

It's all been downhill since they changed the "Don't panic" button on the front page to say just "Help"...

My point exactly. It might seem trivial, but even over the two and a half years I've been on more and more Adams references seem to go AWOL
