But it's so much nicer to come home.
I've just got back home after a couple of days in Dallas visiting Dewey (and the former Mrs Gosho, of course). He's the same old Dewey that he always was but he's definitely showing his age (16) He's a bit more arthritic than he was last time I saw him, exactly a year ago, and he's not seeing too well these days despite having medicine for his eyes and his blood pressure. Look at his pupils - they're like dinner plates

But he remembered his dad as soon as I walked in, and wouldn't leave me alone Mrs Gosho (that was) is doing well after a bout of pancreatitis earlier this month. There was beer, there was food, there was curry, and there was Dewey

My Greebo's pupils are like that. When he does get in the light (not often as I keep the blinds drawn) his pupils only partially constrict, and I can see tears in the iris. His vet checked him out and wasn't particularly concerned as he still has some vision. He isn't bumping into walls or anything. He also checked his BP (isn't the little blood pressure cuff around the tail cute?) and it was fine so I don't know what is causing his dilated pupils.
Anyway, Dewey's a cutie.

Dewey doesn't bump into things either but he doesn't react to movement like cats normally do. And he has no trouble finding anything that tastes (and therefore smells) good

Yeah... I noticed Greebo doesn't chase things I toss in front of him anymore. He'll turn his head but seems to lose track of it (or interest in it... hard to tell the difference with a cat).

Mrs G took this picture a few weeks ago. He hasn't lost his touch when it comes to keeping the dog under control, and the dog knows it http://pbs.twimg.com/media/CqeIi5iUsAAHloZ.jpg:large
