You can call me TC

The IT crowd only went on for a very few seasons. Each episode a classic. Unfortunately the "reunion" one-off episode, made later on, when the main characters had all developed their careers, was terrible.

Netflix is apparently no good at all to me in Germany because very few of the programmes are available with the original English sound track. So it's back to Youtube and see what you can find.

Ah... OK... I probably saw all of them then. I think I watched 4 series.

I have considered an electric scooter/bike in the past. I had nowhere to keep one back then, in Fort Gosho. Castle Gosho is bigger, but not by much.

That's what's nice about this one, it folds up very small. You could stick it behind a door or under a bed or table.

Well would you Adam and Eve it. Cap Metro have tweaked the bus times for two of the three buses I can take, and there's a journey I can do to the Indian place today with convenient waits between each bus on the way there, and moderate waits on the way back, and about 20 minutes in the shop. After that it's half-hour waits for at least one of the buses.

And I would have to have left five minutes ago to make it smiley - facepalm

Panic over. All smiley - tead up again smiley - biggrin

A tea caddy that's less than half full, and no backup in the pantry, is a prospect for your average British person.

Speaking of HEB, have they done away with their Hill Country brand? I don't really go there often enough to notice these things. The last few own-brand items I've bought there are 'Texas Tough'. Maybe it's that the last few items have been baking parchment and freezer bags, which are good if they're tough. I can't imagine the same description being ideal for something like cheese or bread smiley - tongueout

Dunno. I'm a long time Kroger and Targét shopper and I'm just beginning to shop at H.E.B. I think I've still seen Hill Country Brand products, but to be honest, I wasn't paying much attention.

I don't think we have a Kroger in Austin. If we do it's in a part of town I either don't go to or can't get to on the bus.

Apparently you don't. Bryan / College Station seems to be the edge of their territory.

They're ubiquitous in E/SE Texas (except for Vidor which rumor says doesn't have one because Kroger hires black people. smiley - headhurts)

I know they must be in Atlanta too cos Alton's often wheeling his trolley around one in certain Good Eats episodes.

I did a Google and there are some conflicting maps.

This page might be accurate. It might not. I think grocery chains change their territories rather often. I remember a Food Lion store not far from here but it closed after about 5 years. (Possibly related to a news report about them "bleaching" meat to extend its shelf-life.)

It's a bloody good job I did miss that early bus to the Indian food shop last week, the one that would have got me there at 9.30am.

They open at 10am smiley - facepalm

Never mind, there's another concatenation of buses I can take a little later in the morning that gives me comfortable-ish waits between connections.

I'm beginning to wonder if either Liptons doesn't do loose tea any more or if there's a tea shortage, because the Indian food shop is another place that doesn't have those boxes. The only Liptons product there was tea bags.

I doubt if it's the latter because there were other brands, although not as many as I remember seeing before, and the prices hadn't increased, which they would have if tea was in short supply. I ended up buying a Brooke Bond blend called Taj Mahal. Two pounds of tea for $10.00 smiley - ok Probably more than I'd pay for it in Sainsbury's, but there ain't a Sainsbury's anywhere near Castle Gosho.

I also bought some Gum Arabic because I remember seeing it in a recipe recently and thinking that I'd probably never find it except for online. But now I can't remember what the recipe was smiley - flustered Unless... nope. I thought I might have copied it to my recipes folder where I'd be able to do a search for it, but nothing's showing.
