There's a rather bizarre British sitcom by that name just started on Trio http://www.triotv.com/
Is it worth persuing?

it is one of the few truly funny sitcoms I've seen in recent years. I can't stand stuff like Friends and Coupling as it's all too bloody cosy. Spaced has got the excellent Simon Pegg in it, who was in Shaun of the Dead (which I still haven't seen, but which has had rave reviews).
I'm surprised they haven't repeated it.

You can get the two series on video. Best TV since Fawlty Towers, and that's been a while.
Simon Pegg and others of the Spaced team are also excellent in the movie "Shaun of the Dead".

Funny, how there were commercials for Shaun of the Dead during Spaced Mrs Gosho is talking about getting rid of digital cable since we never watch BBC America any more, and that'll mean no more Trio

I'm looking forward to "Shaun of the Dead". It looks good, at least from the commercials.

I'm with Croz on this one. Spaced is an absolute corker and worth every moment. Indeed it's one of the very few (ie one of two) comedy series that I've deemed good enough to invest in them on DVD

The other one? Well it certainly isn't HHGTTG! I can still recall the sense of disappointment I felt in the TV series 20 odd years after it was broadcast. No, that show was just awful.
The other comedy series that I own on DVD is Rob Brydon's wonderful Marion & Geoff. Though if you hang on for another month or so, the collection is likely to increase to three, if I decide to buy Craig Cash's 'Early Doors' on its release.

How interesting. I thought that the TV series was one of the best radio to TV transfers I've ever seen.

In some respects yes I'd agree, but that's because you've got the same script and the for the most part the same actors involved.
The problem for me was the shoddy set and special effects. Plus it was very strangely lit, as if it was especially designed to bring out the worst in the acting and the set. It made everything look very very flat.

The only series I know of which improved on being transferred to TV was The League of Gentlemen, if only because the tone was so much darker and it was less of a sketch show format.

Why is it that only one reviewer on the U.S. side of the Atlantic reviewed "Shaun of the Dead?" (The one in the New Yorker) Did her have to go to Europe to see the movie?

Speaking of zombies...
Did some the fat that was syphoned into Leslie Ash's lips seep into her brain? I think her lips are more animated than she is in Mersey Beat.

I am watching "Celeb" with Harry Eniled. I was trying to think where I had seen Harry Enfield previously, but, as with most of the comedians who do his sort of characters, it is hard to remember what you've seen him in before. The only thing I recognised in the list on IMDb was "Kevin's Guide to Being a Teenager" (which was hilarious).
I remember now seeing "Harry Enfield and Chums". although I didn't remember the name of it.
This episode is about Gary's concerns that his "todger" is too small.... Which brings me to my friend's problems with her printer. She was going to return it because the paper-feed had quit. Before taking it back to Staples, she decided to have a look and see if it was perhaps something simple to repair.
Lo and Behold! When she opened it up, she found a pen stuck in the paper feed....
How does this relate to the episode of "Celeb"?
All I could think of was this.... http://www.geocities.com/Vienna/7973/images/pen_is_stuck.jpg
