Yup - the article on Medical Quackery is in Peer Review - it's way back in the list, now... There are some links from that entry to the Museum entry, and I'll need to update the article when the entry number's changed. I've asked for editing suggestions (what I should cut out to make this huge monstrosity a little more agile) but nobody seems to have any ideas. Since it's back in the back, maybe somebody will come along and recommend it; I'm patient. But as far as I know, nobody's planning to recommend it yet.

Pointy Birds was written by Steve Martin as a joke upon which he draws in at least two movies: L.A. Story and The Man With Two Brains. It goes "...Anoint my head, anointy-nointy." I thought it was sounded very funny, especially when used in an attempt to woo a woman.

I knew about The Man With Two Brains - that's where I got it, but I wasn't aware it was also in LA Story (haven't seen it.) I thought it was pretty funny, too... mostly because he looks so serious and romantic, but the poem is the equivalent of 'roses are red, violets are blue, I killed a wolverine because it looked like you.'
