does anything important ever happen? i mean like really important? anywhere? just because it changes your life doesn't mean it's important...what does important mean anyway? :_/

Well, I guess there we come up against the diference between personally important, and what might be considered important on a global, or species-level. But it's true, that most things that are considered as being 'important' are only so in the short-term, but when considered against a longer timescale and outside the circle of human activity, are revealed to be rather more ephemeral than human egoism would prefer to consider.
