h2g2 The Hitchhiker's Guide to the Galaxy: Earth Edition

Going to the funeral of one of my oldest friend's 18 year old daughter. I have never been closer to screaming in sheer rage at the universe than sitting surrounded by teenagers sniffing and staring at her ramrod straight back.

That is all.

I wish I had words to make this all better, I don't think they exist.

Let me offer a friend to friend, and just share in your sorrow.

This was a child whose antenatal classes I went to and who I was probably the first person to see, apart from her mother and the medical people. But I don't have the right to be devestated - we had lost touch in recent years. So instead I am just very very angry. This was an even more random death than normal.

Anyway, small vent.
