there's loads who could be sent out, make them see/feel what it's like to keep looking over your shoulder etc

there is one thing that as always puzzled me.

people hate things like snakes and spiders and go a long way to avoid.

but lds and lasses, after leaving school want to join one of the services.

the way things are now, they know the odds are at some time they are having to take lives, or face the unknown.

but they still do it, is it the honor, the bravado, the money, they can hopefully learn a trade. or just want to have a rifle in the hands.

in 1966, i joined, but i worked doing bomb tails for 2 inch,3 inch, and 81mm shells.and one day said, "we have made them, lets get to use them" and 6 of us went off and joined.
