when you think about it the amount of people killed
over the last 100 years it's millions.
all down to war. what a waste of life.
and now in the 21st centry we are still doing it
and we will be doing it in the next 1oo years
if we are still here ?

the odds is the onlt answer you would get, say from the forces is.

without wars and civil wars, we wouldnt need an army, airforce or navy. and the young lads would not leave school a join up.

my answer would be, less forces, less money now needed on weapons to kill not one, but a whole unit at times.

you can go back in history, and find there as never been a war of sorts, maybe even back to the cavemen days, tribes waring over food and women maybe.

in the first wwar, on the day they where told the cease fire would be at 11am, the order was given to fire off all the remaining shells till the last minute. as they didnt want to lug them back.

so when they say, lest we forget, its the fallen, in battle, and on the last day as the germans did the same. records show, that most units didnt take a last day rollcall, so by the ceasefire, most killed when never known.

as it said on the news last night, some dont want to, brown cant make them, and the usa are happy as it is.

did you see the news on remebernce sunday, of the heartless pratt, i think from hull, that stole off the counter of a shoe shop, a collecting box, with an estimated £60 in it.

when i see an official box, its 99% its ok, but when someone as a plastic bucket, with a printout on, you have second thoughts to put something, even when its for the pudsey childrens appeal.

i have a red british heart foundation pin, i wear it in my pocket flap with pride, i had the two attacks and mild stroke in 1994. if there was one for cancer,i would wear that to, for the help my sister got near the end.from the marie curie group.
