I did think about it about a week ago but it had mould on you see and if I open the box it might smell smiley - erm Also I'll then need to clean the box out as it's also covered in mould which is where the problem arises... so it'll just sit on the worktop and make friends with the sandwich box which still has somethign in it but I'm not sure what so it's also just sitting there (and has been since April smiley - erm ) as I daren't open it but don't like to throw it away either smiley - smiley

smiley - laughsmiley - laugh I would pop round and open/clean/deal with the offending items for you smiley - laugh but I fear its a bit of a treck between here and there smiley - laugh go on! smiley - biggrin You can do it! smiley - biggrin Summon up the internal strength, and open the box! smiley - yikes Preferabably, I recomend, over the outside bin, so the offending contents can immediatly be thrown out... smiley - biggrin then return with the offending box, to the kitchen, where a previously prepared sink with very hot water and a little bleech awaits to througherly clean the box, before rinising and washing them in ordinary washing up liquid: should be the best way to deal with any unplesant odar's that may be contained within these pandora's boxes of furry-food smiley - biggrinsmiley - laugh

But see the sandwich box has been there since April...on the Windowsill...in southampton sun? It's going to be revolting! When I first got here I opened a bread bin that hadn't been opened for months and we had to disinfect the whole kitchen smiley - erm

Oh I know what it is... also I just remembered we have some pans left from when we went to the Grand prix in July and may have failed to wash them up smiley - erm Although I do have valid reasons for not washing those up at the time, unlike the rest of them smiley - blush

smiley - biggrinsmiley - laugh So, you won't open the box <?>
and you won't throw it out <?>
So it will be a kind of memorial eternal <?>
just sitting in the kitchen, till eventually it rots in the box, and smiley - erm the chance of it leaving diminishes, as it develops inteligence every day,
its evolution in a box, from some greenish bacon you say <?> smiley - biggrinsmiley - laughsmiley - sillysmiley - laugh

If in doubt I cook it and eat it smiley - biggrinsmiley - biggrinsmiley - yikes : I've not been here yet long enough to have established any interesting cultures of fungi within my kitchen smiley - smiley : I used to have a fungal growth, in a coffee mug on my window sil, called Bob smiley - sadface till one day someone killed him smiley - wahsmiley - sadface I used to enjoy my conversations with him as well smiley - ermsmiley - biggrin (PS; this was back when i was in halls, and talking to non-responsive lifeforms/inanimate objects, was considered "normal") smiley - biggrinsmiley - laughsmiley - smiley

My cucumber never goes moldy smiley - erm That sounds like I'm about to embark in some kind of dirty sort of sentence involving teh word "cucumber", I'm not smiley - biggrin : It just turns really watery, and then I can tip it in the bin, pouring the water out of the cucumber wrapping into teh sink smiley - ermsmiley - yuksmiley - laugh : I don't like throwing things away, too wasteful, unfortunatly the cucumber liquid is disgusting, and I can't bare to drink it smiley - biggrin Six frogs? smiley - yikes Why do you think it will survive the smiley - cat s clutches this time smiley - ermsmiley - smileysmiley - frog
