Downlands has sent me a letter, they say they hope to be able to offer me a one bedroom flat just a few streets away from where I live now sometime between the end of the month and the end of may depending if the property needs any repairs and the like.
I lost a letter I had put in my pocket to post on my way past the post box just few a hundred yards from my door. I walked right past that post box, but reached into my pocket at the next one and Vanished was the envelope, despite retracing my steps carefully, no sign of it... feel a right twit. Can only hope someone picked it up and dropped into a post box, rather than it being binned or taken by a magpie... had stuff in it about my circumstances, identity, place on the housing register and benefits etc...
Haven't been around much and won't be for a while... no internet acess apart from at the library at the mo, a maybe until I'm moved in a set up in this little flat.
Take care...

Oh, dearest! I cross all my fingers that this gets sorted! Someone must have posted it for you, unless it was a very windy day...

Losing important letters is a Very Bad Thing- hope it works out.
But I'm thrilled about the apartment!

Indeed, losing letters is not cool...
I'm not really gonna believe I have this place until I'm all moved in.
So I'm not presently sighing with relief or getting thrilled about it, once I've moved in and am settled and secure I'll allow myself to breathe and smile and go !
I went along to the SOHA service user frum today... first time since I moved in... early in my stay at NERd I didn't know it existed and when I did find out it existed it always seemed to clash with other plans, like visiting Suz up in Gloustershire or taking her out the cinny in Crawley or appointments whatever... Or I'd have trouble sleeping, then sleep right through it. Anyway finally got along to one and got my tenner for my time and it's been suggested I join the service user committee...
*Looks at the word 'committee' with suspicion, after spelling half a dozen different ways and none of them looking right*

Indeed they are.
I took a wander down the road the other day, to take a look at where I hope to be living fairly soon from the outside, get an idea of where it was in relatio to things, how old the build was, basically find out as much I could without being officially showed the property... I couldn't see any reason why I would wish to reject the offer, and I expect I'll hand in my notice to SOHA as sooon as I've veiwed it from the inside....
