That said, I wish I said Monday rather than Thursday. It's a hell of a long time to wait. And I'm on an early shift on the Friday having to get up at six, and I'm meeting her at 8, so it'll have to be short and sweet.

Well, my bird has flown. Apparently she has a boyfriend and 'it's not right'. So it's all off.

Either she's telling the truth, in which case it's frustrating, or she's giving me the brush-off which is just depressing.

As I have no way of ever really finding out, I think I shall choose to believe the first option as it's psychologically better for me.

On the other hand, I've learned quite a lot... leaving a week and a half gap between meeting her and meeting her again was a bit of a bum move, for starters.

Still I think you can take some confidence from the methodology you used to "Pull" her, kept your confidence in a club.

These skills are transferable old bean...

Ta. Yeah, the main thing is to try and get back on the horse again, so to speak. There's a housewarming that we're probably going to on Saturday, and they're a couple, so there should be lots of girls there...

The main thing is not to care how you get on, I think, and take anything that happens as a bonus. Those have been the only circumstances when anything's ever happened for me
