A link I picked up off Bassman's personal space - I think I'd heard of it somewhere before, but the first time I've seen it. This link should show you my personal space translated into cockney...

Which I think rather bleedin' well suits it!
You can also get it translated into Swedish Chef...

I have to say I prefer Redneck. My page reads fairly well in Redneck or Cockney.

If you're referring to the Digibox affair, I just came across it yesterday. Shows how little I get around h2g2 these days I've yet to work my way through any of the threads but I'm getting the gist of proceedings.
I'm glad I was elsewhere when it all blew up

Hey, some of us rarely venture far from our welcome pages. What happened?

GreyDesk Posted Feb 19, 2004
In summary: two ex-digibox users who now have PCs decided that they didn't like certain sections of their old community and reported back to their digibox supplier, Telewest, that there was a hack that enabled digibox users to access certain parts of the internet (ie h2g2) that were not, shall we say, entirely within the the realms that Telewest had set out as being accessible by their users.
As a result, the loophole has been blocked; BBC New Media team ain't entirely happy about how things have turned out; and two (now) PC using researchers are not entirely flavour of the month
