g) Read all those books I've been meaning to read but never got around to...then blame the lack of revision on that...
Hang on...no...that'd be better left untl *after* the exams...more time...lots of books...

Or alternatively after you've been thrown off the computer by your parents and its too late at night to do any revision

I'm using the several windows open at once trick, I don't notice the downloads. It's been a nightmareover the past few days though

Yeah...well...I was *trying* to do the same thing...but you sort of notice when *none* of the windows are *actually* opening...
I've only got 2 windows open now...and it seems to be marginally better...but it's still taking ages...

There was the problem that the computer was complaining of not having enough memory. I had to close down six windows before opening any up a few times because the thing kept crashing

Oh well...
I closed ICQ and now things are a lot better...
I guess the computer was getting confused about who it was supposed to be talking to...

I don't ICQ at the moment, things are frenetic enough without it. I had Instant messenger going earlier and couldn't keep up with that and posting here....

I've only ever had two IE windows open at once at the most, I manage to cope with just the one...anything goes wrong and a swift kick usually sorts it out...

It's a lot better when a forum will actually load up...

That's good
I think the worst was when I had four h2g2 windows open, three more IE another Netscape, Windows explorer, two email accounts and six notepad windows open all at the same time. I needed two rows on the taskbar to see them all
