they turned the LHC on today at approximately 9:30 am GMT. it cost 9 billion dollars or euros? to build and they've been working on it for years and years and years and years and it's way extremely cool. and they could create mini black holes that might eat the earth (but even if they do they probably won't eat it). anyway this is very exciting for me because i am a science nerd and they've been talking about all the things they could find because of it for a really long time and it's generally very exciting. (by the way LHC stands for Large Hadron Collider and it is a particle accelerator and it will accelerate protons up to 99.9999991% of the speed of light, which is really effing fast and also really effing awesome!!!!!!!!)

yeah i've heard of xkcd. not dilbert blog though. i just have to say this because i think it's funny though no one else seems to think so: the lhc could make black holes. it has a detector called ALICE. if the planet is sucked into the black holes ALICE will have gone down the black rabbits hole.
i think that's pretty cool. anyway, you should never laugh at your own jokes.
