Pierre de la Mer ~ sometimes slightly worried but never panicking ~ Posted Nov 22, 2013
I don't *keep* a schedule as such, it doesn't seem necessary. I go to sleep between midnight and 3am and sleep till I wake up again - which is usually between 6 and 8 hours

As long as it works for you, that's what counts.

A shedule really suits some people... and for them, often not having one, can really impinge on their sleeping...
There is such a huge variety with 'sleeping' though... I seem particularly bad at it at the moment; sometimes I'm so* tired and md--afternoon, I cawl into bed to sleep... so* tired... yet somtimes, I'll not be able to sleep at all, whilst other times, I can; and the same at night, sometimes I'm so* so* tired, and often its those times, have the most trubble sleping; mainly trubble falling sleep, but sometimes also trubble falling sleep;
William; we get into bed.... four or five minutes he's asleep! if* I'm lucky, an hour and a half, or two hours late, I am asleep : and it doesn't seem to be determined by how tired I feel, sometimes, when the more tired, this can be two hours for me to fall asleep, and other times, wehn less tired, maybe only* half an hour or so...
I rarely stay asleep long either, I think this supprized William, but even after an hour or two for me to fall asleep, I'm often awake again, a couple hours later... Thugh, luckly, I can useually* fall asleep far quicker the second, third, or forth time around, though it means I rarely sleep many hours in one stretch.... Though Ocasionally I do Its so variable for differnt people though; I can't even blame my sleeping environment, as I'm barely any better whether I'm sleeping at my house, William's house, in a hotel, or at my Dad's, ec...

I find a strong often helps but it can only be used once every 4 days or so, or the effect wares off.
I simpathise with you not getting some sleep can be a real blight on a normal life.

It can also be a blight on an abnormal life too...
I slept pretty well last night, I think...
Took forever to fall asleep, as it nearly always seems too; Got into bed I think a bit before 2 AM, was still awake gone half 3, possibly later, I can't quite recall it being 4 AM though
Woke at 8.30, which is a bit* early for me to get up, really, when I've nothing much to do (I'll get up that early, if I happen to wake that early, on a day I plan to make bread, or simular, but there isn't much I can do early morning on a Sunday here, if I'm not making bread...), so I just rolled over... and woke up a bit before midday
Felt kind of weird, being back in my own bed, though reassuringly cofortable, with the matress I'm used too, and the duvet and pillows I'm used too (they're pretty expensive ones, actually, though not overly the top expensive, mind)
Was fairly quiet outside, last night, just a few/occasional car/lorry going past, and not too* much noise from lodger downstiars either which was helpful I guess
Felt reasonably well awake today, too , wihch makes a nice change
Need to be up by about9 AM, tomorrow, well Idon't really, but at least then I've a few hours to have soe breakfast, and drink lots of coffee, before going out and try* wake up before I head into the cold outside and thence into town for some shopping so hopefully I can sleep well tnignt, if I could jut fall asleep quicker, and remain asleep.... 2 AM until say 9 AM would be a damn good amount of sleep if I weren't still in bed awake at3 AM or later
