you've mainly had sunny skies, and are still depressed? Feeling motivation in the negative numbers. Thank Bob that immortality is impossible 'coz I don't think I can take another decade or two of this.

I found if I just eat some fruit, I'm not sad anymore. Funny, that.

Got a call this evening -- it was an inmate from the Men's Jail, downtown, trying that famous phone scam. I didn't bite. Go, me!

SC, it might be. It could be just the change in light. My friend always goes blue in January, and I always get the Spring Darkness around March. Which usually coincides with yearly evaluation and salary negotiations. Wonderful set up. And the sun comes out stronger and brighter and I feel terrible for not being able to appreciate it.

Fruit is good. Vitamin D? Sunshine, rest, what ever you feel like. Pamper yourself.

it was downright HOT out today! About 85F/29C and I was dumb enough to wear a jacket, so I ended up lugging it all day. I think temps should be between 72-76F/22-24C and no higher. Believe it or not, it depresses me when it's sunny for too long (or any other weather that's too same-y).

I *think* I'm just feeling antsy today, and I have a couple of things coming up which I have to deal with and don't want to. Thanks for the encouragement, Milla.

SC, if this is a pattern that repeats every year, then I'd suspect SAD even though you live in sunny Southern Cal. I have problems in the winter more than when I was younger. I hate the gray days.

Concerning Vitamin D, I've been reading that we actually need the sunshine in order to be healthy both physically and emotionally. And I've also read fairly recently that normal sun exposure isn't as dangerous as we've been told and that sunscreens do more harm than good. This is good news for me since I've cut way back on my gardening, afraid of spending as much time in the sun as I used to do.

Hope you get whatever unpleasant events your facing over and done with.
