Ah, 4-day weekend!
Mind you, we had such a thing not so long ago... Ascension Day is a bank holiday, and we were told to take Friday off.
... And just for good measure, I also took the Monday off, because I couldn't get a bus back from London on the Sunday. (I went to the Spring Meet!!)

I haven't been on that thread for a while indeed, mostly because it might be a bit obvious that it has nothing to do with work...
... But I'm seriously looking into getting an internet access at home, so expect me back some time soon!

The summer is lovely indeed, if a little too hot. More than 24°C is too much for me... But I'm surviving, and we have fans at the office, so it's very bearable.

I hope all is well for you too, are your children home for the summer?

Tomorrow is the French national day (bank holiday), and our general director decided that the institute would be closed on Friday as well, so we've had to take a day's holiday as well... That means a looong week end!
... Does that mean I can apply for a Sri Lankan passport?
