Yes, it's getting close now.

My "terminale" students are starting their exams right at the beginning of June, so their lessons stop on May 30th; my "professional" class are leaving for a training period about at the same time;
There'll just be my "Première" class, who only have History-Geography and French exams this year. Their lessons end on June 7th.


O M G I've just had a message saying the "inspector" is coming to see one of my lessons next week! On Friday at 2 o'clock.
Well, at least I know. I can get properly ready.
... ? ... ... !!!!!!!!
I'm going to have a great weekend...
While *some* will be sleeping late and lazying around, I'll be preparing my inspection.

I'm trying to get in contact with an organisation that ... organises language trips. I would be in charge of a small group of students, giving lessons in the morning, and doing some activities in the afternoon. I don't know if the dates etc will fit, but I think it'd be an interesting thing to do.

Do you have summer holidays in Sri Lanka?
I don't think you should. You need the summer to do all the things you can't do on bank holidays, like ...work, for example!!

Young Lady over here we have summer all year round !!!!

I just finished dinner and relaxing with a smoke.

I've been working very hard these days, not used to it.

Ah, yesterday was apparently a holiday in Britain.

My inspection went fine, the students were good as I've never seen them before, and probably never will...

So now I just have to wait for the commission to get together and decide that they do want me in!

So what was for dinner?

I've forgotten what was for dinner that night, but, tonight I'm going out for an official dinner, there'll be lots of nice stuff. Shall remember to have a few more chocolate puddings on your behalf.

The weather has been terrible here for the past week, or so. Forecasters say it will clear up in a couple of days. Bad weather means, annoying extra costs and delays for me.

Ok, you don't much care for sports, but, didn't you watch any of the tennis from Roland Garros?

New school year starts at the beginning of September.
I've just learnt I have to do some correcting for the exams, until July 7th! Shouldn't have talked about holidays!!

The rain did stop, but it's started again!



Just got an email from teacher school, saying that they're giving a "non favourable" opinion about me for the commission thingy in July...

What happens is, the commission examines a file-thingy with several documents, and has the opinion of:
- teacher school
- the Inspector
- the headmaster of the school where I worked.

So I have 2 "favourable" ones, and one "non favourable"... Technically, the Inspector's opinion is more important, so it *should* be ok, but I really thought I was finished with all the worrying, and now this!

I've received a note from the Education Authority thing, asking me for an interview, after the "non-favourable" opinion I got last week...
It's on Monday afternoon.

I shall keep that time in mind. Nothing will go wrong.
