Some people I know just got elected to full time sabbatcial officer position in the students union.
(that was the reason for not being online yesterday, celebrating and recovering )
Just thought I'd say congratulations in case they turn up at some stage

The one problem with finding h2g2 running again is that it unfortunately coincides with a couple of deadlines.....

Electoral systems

Students union elections are comning up tomorrow and this put me in ind of how all these election systems work. I know the US presidential election is different to the UK parliamentary elections and the European elections are different again. i thought I'd get started on something anyway. Feel free to add something to the conversattion forum about it.
