Hi Ermine. I am back on line in the USA although I don't know how much time I an put in t the ol'H2G2 now as I am pack up with work (hence the time now 6:55 and still at work) and talking to the ol' GF. Just to let you know that I am here if you want to chat.

The US is crazy. Every thing is so big that I havent even gotten the feel of atlanta and I have been here for more than two weeks now. Work is hard and there is no time for lofing like you have when you are a student. Hay ho I will have to delay my budding journalistic carear fo a while.

Well here I am again, its 7;30 an I have still not left work yet. Argh. My supervisor is a slave driver. However doing PCR and pouring gels is very satisfying. Maybe I should write an article on the finner points of gel electrophoresis. Hum I wonder? How is things over in the rainy U.K. I am starved of news, is the foot an mouth crisis still ongoing?

It's slacking off a bit now. Not that I'm keeping up to date.

I'm sure the Guide could do with an entry on it. Try popping over to the University first (http://www.bbc.co.uk/h2g2/guide/A338915) I think there is an ongoing biology project, you might be able to get it in. The unioversity projects are good for skipping the peer review pages and tend to be published quickly
