I've tried and so far failed to complete another chunk adequately, and what with tomorrow being Friday and Saturday's Drinking Against Terrorism (I literally have got the t-shirt! Just got to go there and do that...) I'm not likely to have any more done by Sunday. Thought I'd better let you know.
I just can't seem to write an adequate description of the rain!

The rest is coming. Nearly finished, might be one chunk, might be two, still writing backwards so don't know yet(I won't mention the sound of deadlines going past as I'd imagine you've heard it plenty of times before. Oops.

You probably have already, and it might be too late if you haven't, but could you pop a 'to be continued' thing at the end? I wouldn't want people to think I chickened out when the rain started...

You should now have the second part. I've concluded everything, but got carried away with the mud stuff, so the last paragraph may be a bit rushed (it was edited down from a 500 word final instalment but I thought a third part would be pushing it, especially as Glasters is now over a month ago!)
I can change the current ending & reinstate the third part if you think it would be appropriate, but I doubt anyone's that interested anymore!
Anyway, it's been an honour and pleasure to contribute, and as soon as I think of something worthwhile I'll have another go. In the mean time I've got a guide entry to write...
